Description
Cacio e Pepe is a classic Roman pasta dish made with just three ingredients: pasta, cheese (Pecorino Romano), and black pepper. It's simple yet incredibly flavorful.
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 500g spaghetti
- 200g typical cheese (Pecorino Romano) grated
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
- Drain the pasta some minutes before it is fully cooked and add it to the pan
- When the pasta is cooked (al dente), turn off the heat and quickly mix in the cheese mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
