Cacio e Pepe is a classic Roman pasta dish made with just three ingredients: pasta, cheese (Pecorino Romano), and black pepper. It's simple yet incredibly flavorful.

Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta some minutes before it is fully cooked and add it to the pan
  3. When the pasta is cooked (al dente), turn off the heat and quickly mix in the cheese mixture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
